Two Greenville convenience store employees have been arrested for allegedly embezzling cash and lottery tickets.
According to police, 52-year-old Nicole Perkins and 51-year-old Alisha Taylor worked together to steal from the Red Oak Grill and Grocery on SW Greenville Blvd.
Perkins faces eight counts of embezzlement after allegedly stealing cash and lottery tickets. Taylor was charged with eight counts of felony conspiracy and larceny by employee, accused of helping Perkins carry out the thefts.
Warrants also indicate that Taylor stole other items from the store, though further details were not disclosed.
Both women were booked into the Pitt County Jail. Perkins was released after posting a $15,000 bond. Taylor remains in custody under the same bond amount.
